Italy Won The UEFA Euro 2020 Football Championship

The UEFA Euro 2020 was the 16th edition of the UEFA European Football Championship, organised by the Union of European Football Associations. The tournament was a non-host nation tournament held in 11 European cities from 12 June to 12 July 2021, with the semi-finals and final held at Wembley Stadium in London.

 

Italy in blue football jerseys won the European Championships after 53 years, defeating England in white football uniforms 4-3 on aggregate in the final on penalties. In terms of individual awards, Portuguese centre-forward Cristiano Ronaldo won the tournament's Golden Boot Award with five goals and one assist; England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford won the Golden Glove Award. Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Spanish midfielder Pedro Gonzalez Lopez were named best player and best young player respectively.
